How to Repair Wheel and Tire? How to Repair Wheel and Tire?

How to Repair Wheel and Tire?

1. Repair of wheel discs

(1) If the bearing holes of the bolts are worn, the roundness error is greater than 1.5mm or the bearing surface of the tire bolts is not balanced, it can be repaired by surfacing welding.

(2) Cracks between the bolt bearing holes or between the large holes can be repaired by welding.

(3) If the connection between the spoke and the rim is de-soldered or the rivet is loose, it should be re-welded or re-riveted.

(4) If there are cracks on the rim, it can be repaired by welding.

2. Repair of hubs

(1) When the wear of the inner and outer bearing seat holes of the hub is greater than 0.05mm, it should be repaired by chrome plating.

(2) The oil pump seal seat hole is unevenly worn or has dents above 0.15mm, which can be repaired by welding.

(3) The circumferential surface in contact with the brake hub should be flat, and if the circular runout of the center line of the hub is greater than 0.1mm, it should be repaired by turning.

(4) When the brake pad hub of the wheel hub has cracks, it can be welded and flattened.

(5) When the inner thread of the fixed half shaft bolt hole is damaged, it can be re-drilled and tapped after surfacing welding.

(6) The runout error of the end face in contact with the flange of the semi-axle should not be greater than 0.1mm, otherwise it should be corrected.

3. Damage and repair of tires

Forklift tires have pneumatic tires and solid tires. The tire inflation pressure must be in accordance with the standard specified by the original factory, and must not be too high or too low. If it is too high, the elasticity of the tire will be reduced, and the line layer will be easily broken. Too low air pressure will cause severe deformation of the tire, increase the temperature, cause degumming or breakage, and may also cause the outer tire to move on the rim and wear the bead, and in severe cases, the inner tire valve will be torn.

(1) When the tire casing has damage such as cracks, holes, blistering, delamination, etc., it should be repaired or renovated according to the specific situation. If there are continuous cracks around the tire carcass, the tread rubber has been polished and there are large holes, the carcass line layer has annular cracks and the whole circle is separated, etc., it should be replaced.

(2) When the inner tube is found to have small holes, it can be hot or cold.

1) Roughly rough the damaged area of the inner tube with hot repair, stick the fire repair glue on the damaged area, and make the hole just in the center of the repair glue, then install the tire repair clip against the normalizing repair glue, and tighten the screw Press down, then ignite the heating agent on the glue, and wait for 10 to 15 minutes to bond tightly.

2) Raw rubber patching (cold patching) File rough around the inner tube break, apply raw glue, and apply glue twice after the surface of the glue is slightly dry. When the glue is air-dried, put the prepared raw If it is slightly larger, it should also be roughed and then coated with glue and air-dried) and attached to the crack, pressurized and heated at 140-145 ℃, and kept warm for 10-20 minutes to vulcanize the raw rubber. After cooling, it can be tightly bonded.

The inner tube is folded, seriously ruptured and cannot be repaired; aging, sticky and deteriorating; deformation and excessive cracks should be scrapped and replaced.

3) Tire assembly

Install the air rod and cap on the tire, and assemble the rim. Note: the air hydraulic valve rod is at the rim gap and faces outward; the rim bolt head should be installed outside the vehicle.
