1. Fault phenomenon

2. Cause of failure

① The free travel of the brake pedal is too large.

② There is air in the brake system.

③ The oil outlet valve of the master pump is damaged; the compensation hole or the air blowing hole is blocked; the leather cup is excessively worn or damaged by aging;

④ The piston and cylinder wall of the main and sub-pump are too worn; the oil pipe is broken or the joint is loose and oil leaks.

⑤ The gap between the brake friction plate and the brake drum is too large.

3. Troubleshooting

① When the forklift needs to be braked, when the brake pedal is continuously stepped on, the pedaling energy will gradually increase, and continue to go down without lifting the foot after it rises. Step on, feel the elasticity; release the pedal for a while and then step on it again, if there is no change, it means that there is air in the system, it should be excluded.

② When the braking of one foot fails, step on the pedal for a few more times, the pedal position can gradually increase and the braking effect becomes better, indicating that the pedal. The free travel of the plate is too large or the gap between the brake drum and the brake pad is too large; check and adjust the free travel of the pedal and make it within the specified. If required, check and adjust the brake clearance again.

③ If you continuously depress the brake pedal, the pedal position can gradually increase.

The feeling of falling, indicating that there is oil leakage in the system: it may be that the rubber cup in the master cylinder is broken or stepped backwards, the oil outlet valve in the master cylinder is not closed tightly, the oil pipe is broken, and the joint is loose. ④ When stepping on the pedal, the pedal position is very low, and there is no response even if you step on it continuously. Generally, the vent hole or compensation hole of the master cylinder liner is blocked, which should be checked and cleared.
