Shut Off Solenoid

The diesel engine fuel shut off solenoid is a solenoid valve used to remotely cut off the fuel supply to the engine. Diesel engine stop solenoid typically consist of a valve body and an integral solenoid assembly attached to the valve stem. When the solenoid is energized, the movement of its plunger retracts the spring-loaded spool from its seat, allowing fuel to pass through the valve. When the solenoid is deactivated, the valve spring of the fuel shut off solenoid pulls the poppet valve back into its seat, effectively shutting off fuel flow.
