(1) Failure phenomenon

When the forklift needs to be braked, the brake has no braking effect, and the forklift cannot slow down or stop.

(2) Cause of failure

① The connection part of the brake transmission mechanism is disengaged.

② The hydraulic brake pipeline (or joint part) has serious oil leakage; the pneumatic brake pipeline (or joint part) has serious air leakage.

③ There is too much oil shortage in the brake master cylinder, the master cylinder cup is broken and damaged or stepped on backward.

(3) Troubleshooting

When you step on the pedal and feel that there is no braking reaction, you should release the pedal immediately, and then step on it several times. Is there any oil stain on it? If the oil level in the reservoir chamber of the master cylinder block is too low, you need to add the same type of brake fluid to the required height; if there are traces of oil leakage on the ground, you need to check whether the pipeline and oil pipe joints are broken (or broken) or the joints are loose (loose), repair or replace as appropriate, then refill brake fluid and bleed air.

If the brake pedal is lightly pressed or the resistance is small when the forklift is braked, it is necessary to check the connection of the transmission mechanism in the braking system: whether the master cylinder exhaust rod is disengaged from the connecting rod (plus the air brake connecting rod, whether If it is found to be disconnected, it needs to be reconnected and locked.

If the forklift brakes, after depressing the brake pad, although there is a certain resistance, the pedal position cannot be maintained. When the master cylinder is checked, there is oil dripping or oil injection, which means that the master cylinder cup is broken, and the master cylinder should be disassembled and repaired or replaced.
