Power take off switches
What is a power take off switch?
The power take off switch is a critical safety device used to prevent accidental blade actuation of lawn equipment. This switch is part of a series of controls for the mower's safety interlock system, requiring the rider to use proper procedures when operating the machinery. Power take off switches are not only suitable for mowing equipment, but also for light agricultural machinery, construction equipment and material handling units. The symbol of a power take off switch is the circular gear icon.
Power take off
A power take-off (usually abbreviated PTO) is one or more sets of transmission gears, also known as a power output device, which is generally composed of a gearbox, a clutch, and a controller. It is connected to the low gear of the gearbox or the output shaft of the auxiliary box to output power to the outside Working devices, such as lift pumps, etc. Since PTOs are often exposed to the environment, safe operation of mechanical power is essential. Operators should know how to safely use PTO accessories and always turn off power and remove the key from the ignition for any maintenance.
Pressure switches
What is a pressure switch?
Pressure switches are simple electromechanical devices that initiate a switching circuit by pressure. The switch activation pressure point is called the set point, and the switch off pressure threshold is called the cut-off point. Diaphragm, an adjustment spring, an auto/off lever, electrical contacts and terminals are the key parts of a pressure switch. A typical pressure switch has a piston with one side of the piston being affected by fluid pressure. The other side is usually at atmospheric pressure. Pressure switches are essential components for controlling the activation and deactivation of pumps in fluid systems when the pressure threshold is reached. They are also used in process control systems to maintain stable pneumatic or mechanical pressure.
Types of pressure switches
1. Electronic pressure switches. The electronic pressure switch has a built-in precision pressure sensor, amplifies the pressure signal through a high-precision instrument amplifier, collects and processes data through a high-speed MCU, generally uses 4-digit LED real-time digital display pressure, relay signal output, and the upper and lower limit control points can be set freely, small hysteresis, anti-vibration, fast response, stable and reliable, high precision.
2. Mechanical pressure switches. This kind of pressure switch has a mechanical pressure sensing section that deforms in response to fluid pressure. Mechanical pressure switches are more widely used than electronic pressure switches because of their simplicity and low cost.
3. Flameproof pressure switches. Flameproof pressure switches can be used in explosive areas and strong corrosive atmospheres. Flameproof pressure switches can provide products with different pressure, vacuum and temperature ranges. They’re commonly used in industries such as electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, boiler, food machinery and environmental protection equipment.
