Structure Of The Forklift Alternator

The alternator consists of a rotor, a stator, a rectifier, front and rear covers, and a transmission cooling device. 1. Generator rotor. Six pairs of magnetic poles are formed by two staggered claw poles, and a magnetic field winding is placed in the middle of the two claw poles. Its function is to create a magnetic field. The rotor consists of claw poles, excitation windings, trickle rings, rotor shafts, etc. Two claw poles are pressed on the rotor shaft, and the claw poles are processed into a bird's beak shape, which can ensure that the AC electromotive force generated by the stator winding is similar to a sine curve. The trickle ring consists of two copper rings insulated from each other, which are press-fitted on the rotor shaft and insulated from the shaft, and the two slip rings are respectively connected to both ends of the excitation winding. When direct current is applied to the two slip piston ring, current flows through the excitation winding, and an axial magnetic flux is generated, so that one claw pole piece is magnetized as the N pole, and the other piece is magnetized as the S pole, thus forming six pairs (or eight pairs) of alternating magnetic poles. When the rotor turns, a rotating magnetic field is formed.

2. Generator stator. The stator is also called the armature. It consists of an iron core and three-phase windings, and its function is to generate alternating current. It is used to generate and output alternating current. The stator core is made of silicon steel sheets with slots and is fixed between the two end covers. There are three-phase windings built in the slots, which are connected together by star or delta connection. on the diode chain.

3. Rectifier It is a three-phase bridge rectifier circuit composed of six silicon diodes. The three-phase alternating current in the stator winding is converted into direct current after being rectified by the rectifier. The rectifier is composed of a rectifier plate, a rectifier diode and an excitation diode. The diode only allows current to pass in one direction, so when it is connected to the AC circuit, it can make the current in the circuit flow only in one direction, which is called "rectification". A rectifier diode is a semiconductor device with unidirectional conductivity; it can convert alternating current electrical energy into direct current electrical energy. A diode that rectifies an AC power source into a DC current is called a rectifier diode. The rectifier diode is divided into two types: positive tube and negative tube, which are respectively press-fitted (or welded) on two mutually insulated boards. The positive pole of the generator is formed together, and a fixed bolt of the element plate insulated from the rear end cover leads to the outside of the casing, and becomes the B+ output nail of the generator. Under normal circumstances, when the engine reaches the idle speed, the output voltage of the generator should reach a stable value, which is called the rated voltage of the generator (the rated voltage of the generator in the 12V system is 14.8V, and the rated voltage of the generator in the 24V system is 14.8V. The voltage is 29.2V).

4. Front and rear cover and carbon brush assembly. The end cover is generally divided into two parts (drive end cover and carbon brush end cover), which play the role of supporting the rotor, startor, commutator and brush assemblies. The end caps are generally cast with aluminum alloys. First, they can effectively prevent magnetic flux leakage. Second, aluminum alloys have good heat dissipation performance. A carbon brush assembly is installed on the carbon brush end cap. The carbon brush assembly without an adjuster consists of a carbon brush, a carbon brush holder and a carbon brush spring, and the carbon brush assembly with an adjuster consists of a carbon brush, a carbon brush holder, a carbon brush spring and an adjuster. The role of the carbon brush is to introduce the power supply into the excitation winding through the slip ring. The two carbon brushes are respectively installed in the holes of the carbon brush holder and are kept in contact with the trickle ring by means of spring pressure. The contact between the carbon brush and the slip ring should be good, otherwise the generator will not generate enough electricity because the magnetic field current is too small.
