Hydraulic components are a complete hydraulic system consists of five parts, namely power components, actuating components, control components, auxiliary components and hydraulic media.
Introduction of hydraulic components
A complete hydraulic system consists of five parts, namely power components, executive components, control components, auxiliary components and hydraulic media. The role of the power element is to convert the mechanical energy of the prime mover into liquid pressure energy, referring to the hydraulic system in the oil pump, which provides power to the entire hydraulic system. Hydraulic pump structure form generally have gear pump, vane pump and plunger pump. Actuating components (such as hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors) is the role of the liquid pressure energy into mechanical energy, drive the load for linear reciprocating motion or rotary motion. Control elements (i.e., a variety of hydraulic valves) in the hydraulic system to control and regulate the pressure, flow and direction of the liquid. According to the different control functions, hydraulic valves can be divided into pressure control valves, flow control valves and directional control valves. Pressure control valves are divided into relief valves (safety valves), pressure reducing valves, sequence valves, pressure relays, etc.; flow control valves, including throttle valves, adjustment valves, shunt collector valves, etc.; directional control valves, including check valves, hydraulic check valves, shuttle valves, reversing valves, etc. According to the different control methods, hydraulic valves can be divided into switching control valves, fixed value control valves and proportional control valves. Auxiliary components include oil tanks, oil filters, oil pipes and pipe joints, seals, pressure gauges, oil level oil thermometers, etc. Hydraulic oil is the working medium for energy transfer in the hydraulic system, there are various mineral oil, emulsion and synthetic hydraulic oil and other major categories.
Classification of hydraulic components
Power components - gear pumps, vane pumps, piston pumps, screw pumps, etc.; executive components - hydraulic cylinders: piston hydraulic cylinders, plunger hydraulic cylinders, oscillating hydraulic cylinders, combined hydraulic cylinders, etc.; hydraulic motors: gear hydraulic motors, vane hydraulic motors, plunger hydraulic motors, etc.; control components - directional control valves: check valves, reversing valves, etc.; pressure control valves: relief valves, pressure reducing valves, sequence valves, pressure relays, etc.; flow control valves: throttle valves, speed control valves, diverter valves, etc.; auxiliary components - accumulators, filters, coolers, heaters, oil pipes, pipe fittings, tanks, manometers, flow meters, sealing devices, etc.
Function of hydraulic components
Hydraulic system mainly consists of: power components (oil pump), executive components (oil cylinder or hydraulic motor), control components (various valves), auxiliary components and working medium and other five parts.
- Power components (oil pump) its role is to use the mechanical energy of the prime mover to liquid pressure energy; is the power part of the hydraulic transmission.
- The executive element (cylinder, hydraulic motor) it is the hydraulic energy of the liquid into mechanical energy. Among them, the cylinder to do linear motion, the motor to do rotary motion.
- Control elements include pressure valves, flow valves and directional valves. Their role is to steplessly adjust the speed of the hydraulic motor according to the need, and the working fluid pressure, flow and flow direction of the hydraulic system to adjust the control.
- Auxiliary components other than the above three parts, including pressure gauges, oil filters, accumulators, coolers, pipe fittings {mainly including: a variety of pipe fittings (flare type, welded, ferrule type, sae flange), high-pressure ball valves, quick-change couplings, hose assemblies, pressure measurement joints, clamps, etc.} and oil tanks, which are also very important.
- The working medium is the hydraulic oil or emulsion in all kinds of hydraulic transmission, which realizes the energy conversion through the oil pump and hydraulic machine.
