Maintenance
- daily check oil level, exhaust temperature and exhaust pressure, and check for abnormal sounds.
- open the separator drain valve to discharge condensate before starting the machine every week, check for leaks everywhere, check the safety valve, and check belt wear (visual inspection).
- regularly check the air inlet control valve, minimum pressure valve, electric control box connection line terminal, safety valve, cooling fan.
- periodically cleaning and sweeping the cooler and testing the reliability of the safety valve.
- Regularly replace the oil filter core, oil separator element, air intake filter element and lubricating oil.
Common Troubleshooting
- The machine does not start: check the main switch and power cord, check the motor.
- Machine does not load after starting: adjust the pressure switch adjustment value or replace the pressure switch, check or replace the solenoid valve.
- compressor does not unload, safety valve discharge: adjust the pressure switch adjustment value or replace the pressure switch, check or replace the solenoid valve.
- Excessive oil consumption: use oil as recommended, lower the oil level to the normal position, remove the oil return line for cleaning and replace the oil and gas separator element.
- Exhaust pressure is lower than the specified value: reduce the amount of gas or increase the compressor, check the system leakage, clean or replace the inlet filter core, replace the oil and gas separator element, check or replace the solenoid valve, repair the inlet control valve, replace the belt, adjust the pressure switch adjustment value.
- compressor high temperature protection shutdown: improve environmental ventilation, clean or clean the cooler, add oil to the specified position, replace the oil filter.
- compressor unloading operation, the exhaust pressure is still slowly rising, the safety valve release: check or replace the solenoid valve, repair the inlet control valve, repair the unloading pipeline.
- Safety valve discharge: repair or replace the safety valve, repair the minimum pressure valve, replace the oil and gas separator element, repair or replace the pressure switch, check the inlet control valve or solenoid valve.

Filter Maintenance
The air filter is a component that filters out dust and dirt from the air, and the clean air after filtration enters the compression chamber of the screw rotor. Because the internal clearance of the screw machine only allows particles within 15u to filter out. If the air filter element is clogged and broken, a large number of particles greater than 15u into the internal circulation of the screw machine, not only greatly shorten the service life of the oil filter element, oil fine separation core, but also lead to a large number of particles directly into the bearing cavity, accelerating bearing wear and tear to increase the rotor clearance, compression efficiency is reduced, and even the rotor boring bite.
Filter Replacement
New machine should be replaced after the first 500 hours of operation of the oil core, with a special wrench counter-rotating oil cartridge to remove, the new cartridge is best to add screw machine oil before installation, cartridge seal with both hands screwed back into the oil filter seat, tighten hard. It is recommended to replace the new cartridge every 1500-2000 hours, it is best to replace the oil cartridge at the same time when the oil is changed, and the replacement cycle should be shortened when used in a harsh environment. It is strictly prohibited to use the oil filter element over the deadline, otherwise, due to serious blockage of the filter element, the differential pressure exceeds the limit of the bypass valve, the bypass valve automatically opens, a large amount of spoil, particles will be directly random oil into the screw main engine, causing serious consequences. Diesel engine oil filter cartridge and diesel filter cartridge replacement should follow the diesel engine maintenance requirements, the replacement method is similar to the screw machine oil cartridge.
Separator Replacement
The oil and air separator is the component that separates the screw lubricating oil from the compressed air. Under normal operation, the service life of the oil and air separator is about 3000 hours, but the quality of the lubricating oil and the filtering accuracy of the air have a huge impact on its life. It is evident that the maintenance and replacement cycle of the air filter element must be shortened under severe use conditions, and even the addition of a front air filter is considered. The oil and gas separator must be replaced when it expires or after the front and rear pressure difference exceeds 0.12Mpa. Otherwise, it will cause motor overload, oil and gas separator broken oil run. Replacement method: Remove the control pipe fittings installed on the oil and gas drum cover. Take out the oil and gas barrel cover to reach into the oil and gas barrel oil return pipe, remove the oil and gas barrel cover fastening bolts. Remove the top cover of the drum and take out the oil. Remove the asbestos gasket and dirt stuck on the upper cover plate. Install the new oil and gas separator, pay attention to the upper and lower asbestos pads must be stapled, and the asbestos pads must be neatly arranged when pressed, otherwise it will cause punching pad. Put back the upper cover plate, oil return pipe and control pipes as they were, and check for leaks.
