Debugging of forklift starting system
Adjustment of the starter: When the starter is working, in order not to make the contact between the starter gear and the limit ring too tight, and to basically fit with the flywheel gear, it is required that the electromagnetic control starter should be driven when the lead iron moves to the limit position. There is a certain gap between the gear and the limit ring, such as the QD121 starter, adjust it to 4.5mm~1mm. When adjusting, first pull the iron to the front end limit position, and use a thickness gauge to measure the gap between the front end of the driving gear and the limit ring. If the clearance is improper, pull it out, loosen the nut, and turn the connecting rod to adjust.
Adjustment of the distance between the starting gear and the limit ring
Adjustment of the distance between the end face of the starting gear and the flange of the end cover: different from the PTO switches adjustment, in order to limit the forklift clutch and sliding sleeve from moving forward arbitrarily, to prevent the impact of the armature winding when the driving gear is separated, and to ensure that the starter is in a free state, the drive gear and the flywheel will not collide. There is a certain distance between the end face of the drive gear and the flange of the end cover. The 321-type starter is 32.5-34mm. If it is improper, you can loosen the lock nut and turn the limit screw to adjust.
Starter idling experiment
The purpose of the starter idling test is to check the running performance of the starter motor. The operation steps are as follows:
1) Connect the test ammeter (150A) and rheostat.
2) Connect a voltmeter (15V) in parallel.
3) Turn the variable resistor to the OFF position.
4) Connect the battery negative terminal to the starter housing.
5) Turn on the switch connected between the S terminal and the B terminal, and adjust the rheostat until the voltage displayed on the voltmeter is 11V.
6) Make sure that the maximum current value is within the specified value and the starter can rotate smoothly, and the maximum speed of the starter is within 2500r/min.
Start relay adjustment
Whether the starting relay is normal or not depends mainly on whether the timing of the contact closing and opening is correct, which in turn is determined by the closing voltage and opening voltage. The so-called closing voltage refers to the voltage acting on both ends of the relay coil when the contact turns from open to closed, and the opening voltage refers to the voltage acting on both ends of the relay coil when the contact turns from closed to open.

Before the inspection, adjust the value of the variable resistance to the maximum, and slowly decrease it during the inspection, so that the voltage acting on both ends of the relay coil will gradually increase. When the contact is closed, the voltage indicator should conform to the above table.
